Green Alert
Green Alert was developed as part of the class ADS560 at the university of kansas. With the help of professor Gregory Thomas we partnered with the organization non-profit organizationTunnels to Towers.
Tunnels to Towers offerns tiny homes and assistance to veterans and particularly serves at risk veterans.
This project was a realtime listening device that would constantly montior and if a keyword such as 'HELP' was spoken then it would alert a staff member to an issue with a specific veteran.
This project was developed with python, node, whisper by OpenAI, and a rasberry Pi.
